Holistic Vet Care
Healing Touch Animal Acupuncture is a house call veterinary service in Hilton Head, SC specializing in holistic and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine for cats and dogs. Dr. Iulo works with your pet’s regular veterinarian to provide an integrative approach to your pet’s healthcare.
Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Iulo provides several holistic vet services including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy, veterinary hospice care, and supplement recommendations. Healing Touch Animal Acupuncture does not provide routine veterinary services or diagnostics (vaccines, bloodwork, etc) or emergency services. It is encouraged that you see your regular veterinarian for routine services.
Acupuncture produces a healing response for dogs and cats and can help relieve pain among other therapeutic effects. It can be helpful in treating various diseases and musculoskeletal issues.
It can be difficult to navigate your pet’s age-related illness or terminal disease. Healing Touch Animal Acupuncture can help you care for your elderly companion in their time of need.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbs can be effective in treating health issues in both dogs and cats. Dr. Iulo recommends specific herbs for every pet to help support health and balance.
Food therapy is the practice of healing the body through food. The goal is to restore balance to the body through nutrition and the inherent energetic properties of food.
